Sometimes they extracted raw material from a soil, in Thailand we called its orange soil, found much in Loei province. But alums in natural do not match the demand so they invented how to produce from high percentage alumina from mineral. Since then till now, alum has many benefits and very important to every life.

In an ancient time, Thai doctors in a country area used alum mixed with water to clean eyes, heal eyes wound and treatment of conjunctivitis which today wasn't use.
